My name is Dan Gardiner I'm a self taught found object artist. I create unique and one of a kind sculptures from found objects and recycled materials. I am very inspired by the items that I find and enjoy breathing new life into something others have discarded. I think that each scratch and dent tell a story and by using these objects it brings that story to the sculpture. My work is very much inspired by sci-fi, fantasy, and the natural world. As I create each sculpture I also come up with a short story which accompanies each sculpture and helps give it more life.
