Jon Minshull

Daily throughout the event  11:30-16:30

Sara Trenchard

15th – 17th September

Glastonbury based artist Sara creates work that features expressive patterns, rich textures and vibrant colour. Her paintings portray places, stories and memories. Things she’s done, people she’s seen, places she’s visited, using her work as a way of trying to express what it feels like to be In nature. She works in a variety of mediums including pen and watercolour, acrylic, oil bar and collage. Her process begins with small sketches and watercolours, done on the spot, which are then brought back to the studio to create larger pieces.

Len Green

21st – 25th September  13:00-16:00

“The concept of Action Painting and the physicality of painting itself sits perfectly with my interests and influences. My stimulation initially comes from music; this can be music which is very relaxed and passive or, more usually, very powerful and expressive.

My paintings are objects, not windows on the world demanding ‘real world’ scrutiny, they are fundamentally pure abstraction – non referential. However, there are ‘accidental’ suggestions of figurative/organic forms which encourage a wider personal engagement with the work and its interpretation.

The titles of my paintings may conjour up images in the viewers mind but they are for identification only rather than a narrative.

The artists who have had been most influential to me and my work in the 20th century are Willem deKooning and Frank Stella – two giants of Modern Art.”

Frank Harwood

28th September  – 2nd October

Wil I Om

Saturdays & Sundays 12:00-4:00 (times may vary)

Wil I Om will be creating work using the medium of coffee. Will’s work touches on the idea of spirit animals and has been developing over the past few years into a strong body of soulful, mystical creatures. Foxes, swans, lions, elephants, giraffes, mice and all manor of critters manifest in his artworks amongst elements of sacred geometry and symbolism.

Wil I Om is self taught and found his creative outlet in a coffee cup. Organically inspired by nature, animals and with the help of Spirit connecting to Source and allowing creativity to flow he found that Art is the doorway into Healing and that each of these pieces filled him with Peace and he loves to share this with you.
