Poetry Night

We are very happy to announce a date for our second Poetry Night here at the Gallery on Thursday the 17th of March. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start.

Hosted by local poet and Elder Bard of Glastonbury Beki Nagle this will be an enjoyable evening of spoken word.

Everyone is welcome, due to the popularity of this event we ask for you to book a seat and confirm your attendance by e-mailing gallery@heartofthetribe.com. We have limited seating and space for a maximum of 30 attendees. Performance spots for this date have already been filled but if you are interested in performing at our next poetry evening on Thursday the 28th of April please e-mail us with your name and number.

Performers are allocated a 5 minute time slot, or up to 3 poems. Spontaneous performances welcome if time allows.

This is a popular event and we recommend arriving early to guarantee an indoor spectator seat, the audience is welcome to spill out into the garden area where we have undercover seating, we also have a few cushions if you are happy to sit on the floor.

This will be a free event held in our intimate space at the end of our garden at Heart of The Tribe.

We intend for this to become a monthly gathering, so do not fret – if you are unable to make this one, there will be another soon.
